Intrigue Tumbling Program

Beginner Tumbling Classes:  Our Beginner Tumbling Classes are offered for any age or level athlete that may want to learn the fundamentals of tumbling on a spring floor.  We know the ultimate goal for a lot of athlete is a round off back-handspring.  In order to safely perform this skill, proper and sound fundamentals are necessary.  We will focus on elements that will assist these athletes in safely performing a round off back-handspring, even though the actual round off back-handspring will not be the focus of these classes.

Elements Beginner Tumbling Classes will Focus On:

1. Floor:  Handstand-holds-forward rolls-front limbers-snap downs.  Right/Left side cartwheels.  One armed cartwheels.  Aerials with spot.  Back bend kick over with spot.  Front/Back tucks with spot.  Front handspring over a barrel.
2. Trampoline:  A Tumble Trak will be used in these classes as a training device.  We will practice full-turns, straight, tuck, straddle and pike jumps.  We will also practice seat drops, swivel hips, knee drop handstands, round-offs, front/back handsprings, aerials and standing front/back tucks.

Our Beginner Tumbling Classes are 1 Hour in duration for a monthly cost of $60.00

Intermediate Tumbling Classes:  Athletes in our Intermediate Tumbling Class must have tumbling experience at Intrigue or be tested by an Intrigue Staff Member to enter into this class.  Extensions and connections of skills listed in our beginner class will be worked on as well as focusing on the basis for good tumbling-fundamentals!

1. Floor:  Athletes will be working on handstand snap downs, right/ left sided cartwheels, aerial, front/back handsprings, round-offs, as well as the round off back handspring series. 
2. Trampoline:  On the Tumble Trak, we will focus more on the front/back handspring, standing back tucks, front handsprings and front tucks.

Our Intermediate Tumbling Classes are 1 Hour in duration for a monthly cost of $60.00

Advanced Tumbling Classes:  Athletes in our Advanced Tumbling Classes must be able to perform a round off back handspring series without spot in order to enter this class.  Also, proper fundamental tumbling elements will also be necessary to enter into these classes.  The focus of our Advanced Tumbling Classes are to perfect the round off back handspring to a level where several back handsprings can be added to a round off, to get to our ultimate goal of training your athletes on back tucks, layouts & twisting elements.

Our Advanced Tumbling Classes are 1 Hour in duration for a monthly cost of $60.00
